In our continuous effort to rapidly develop the IT ecosystem, foster healthy competition, and discover young talents in Uzbekistan, the REVO team has taken a massive step forward. Dedicated to the 5th anniversary of REVO Global, we are immensely proud to be among the first in the private sector to successfully organize a national-scale competitive programming and cybersecurity olympiad — REVO CUP 2025 — as part of the REVO DAY 2025 event.
Held on April 5th at the Urgench IT Park, this event went far beyond a standard competition; it transformed into a vibrant IT community gathering for experts, startup founders, and young developers. You can experience the full atmosphere, stage presentations, and highlights of this exciting day in our special YouTube video.
"We organized this competition not just to find winners, but to bring together the knowledgeable and driven youth who represent the IT future of Uzbekistan. REVO CUP 2025 is our collective contribution to the growth of our youth and the entire tech ecosystem." — Yuldoshboy Sultonov, Founder and Director of REVO.
Intense and Uncompromising Online Qualifiers
Ensuring absolute transparency and fairness was our top priority. The online qualifying stages held on the kep.uz platform were fiercely competitive:
-
Competitive Programming (CP) Qualifiers: On March 29th, 670 registered participants were given 3 hours to solve 10 complex algorithmic problems. Over 3,300 solutions were submitted, and more than 250 coders solved at least one problem completely.
-
Cybersecurity (CTF) Qualifiers: On March 30th, 350 participants spent 4 hours hunting down 11 complex "Flags". Over 1,440 solutions were submitted, with 100+ participants successfully completing tasks.
Fair Play is Our Core Rule! In both tracks, strict parameters were used to monitor for cheating, AI usage, and solution sharing. As a result, over 40 CP participants and 15 CTF participants were disqualified. Only the absolute best—40 finalists from each track (80 total) who relied entirely on their own intellect—earned their tickets to the Grand Final in Urgench.
REVO DAY 2025: Agenda, Speakers, and Networking
The Grand Final kicked off on April 5th at 09:00 AM with ID verification and the distribution of exclusive event badges. Throughout the day, an extensive program was prepared for participants and guests:
-
09:30 | StartUp MeetUp: Experts analyzed the steps of taking a startup from a mere idea to securing clients.
-
14:00 | Cybersecurity MeetUp: Interactive masterclasses and presentations by industry security experts.
-
17:00 | Business & Automation: Panel discussions with TOP managers and businessmen sharing insights on business growth.
A highly active Networking environment thrived throughout the event. Developers, entrepreneurs, and students exchanged ideas and formed new partnerships. To ensure our young talents could focus entirely on their performance without fatigue, we provided free catering and coffee breaks throughout the entire day.
Finals Rules and the Ultimate Battle
The final stage was significantly more challenging than the qualifiers:
-
CP Final (10:00 - 12:30): Participants were given 2.5 hours. Internet access was strictly prohibited. Competitors used solely the computers provided by the organizers and were only allowed to bring a maximum of 25 pages of printed algorithms. Results were judged using the ACM system (based on solved problems and time penalties).
-
CTF Final (14:30 - 17:30): Participants were given 3 hours. They used their own laptops with full internet access to solve real-world security challenges. Those without devices were provided with Windows PCs.

We once again congratulate all the participants who made it to the TOP-10 in both tracks. We were incredibly thrilled by the massive interest in this olympiad, and it was especially heartwarming to see school students among the participants and even among the TOP winners. This highlights the strong passion and potential the younger generation has for the IT field. Our future plans definitely include regularly organizing more large-scale IT conferences and olympiads like this one. After all, REVO is not just a company—it is a vast community building Uzbekistan's digital future, supporting young talents, and uniting professionals. Thank you to everyone who joined us!
