Competitive programming is an exciting discipline in which programmers compete in solving algorithmic problems. Participants are given a set of complex problems and a limited time in which to find optimal solutions.
This process not only develops logical thinking skills, but also helps to find quick and effective solutions, improve algorithmic knowledge. In addition, competitive programming is highly valued by leading IT companies, as it allows identifying talented engineers.
π REVO CUP 2025 will give participants the opportunity to demonstrate their skills on one of the largest competitive programming platforms. The competition supports all programming languages ββavailable on kep.uz. The most popular languages:
β C++ - the most popular choice due to the high speed of code execution and a powerful standard library;
β Python - easy to learn and convenient for beginners, but inferior in execution speed;
β Java is stable and convenient for working with large amounts of data.
π REVO CUP 2025 will consist of two stages:
β Qualifying round (online):
-
Participants must solve 10 algorithmic problems within 3 hours.
-
Based on the results, 40 best programmers will advance to the final.
-
The qualifying round will begin on March 29 at 20:00 and end at 23:00.
β Final stage (offline):
-
The final will take place on April 5 from 10:00 to 13:00.
-
The questions will be more difficult than in the qualifying round.
π Evaluation criteria:
The results of REVO CUP 2025 will be evaluated according to the ACM system:
β Participants are ranked based on the number of problems they solved.
β If two or more participants have solved the same number of problems, penalty points will be applied.
β Penalty points are calculated based on the time a participant spent on the questions they were working on. For example, a participant who starts solving a problem late or makes many attempts due to errors will receive more penalty points.
π Why is competitive programming important?
β Develops logical thinking - by solving problems, you can learn to solve problems in different ways.
β Career-friendly - many IT companies successfully hire competitive programmers.
β Improves teamwork skills - some competitions require teamwork.
β Improves the ability to write code quickly and efficiently, which helps optimize code in real projects.
Participation in the REVO CUP 2025 competition will give you the opportunity to develop algorithmic thinking, solve problems quickly and efficiently, and even get a job in large IT companies. So, if you want to develop your programming skills, participation in the REVO CUP 2025 competition is a great choice!
