Cybersecurity in Action – REVO CUP 2025

Cybersecurity is not just data protection, it is the art of predicting attacks and preventing threats! That is why REVO CUP 2025 invites all information security enthusiasts to take part in a large-scale cybersecurity competition in the CTF (Capture The Flag) format.

This is a unique opportunity to test your knowledge, solve complex practical problems and compete with the best specialists in this field. If you are interested in vulnerability analysis, cryptography, reverse engineering or forensics, this tournament is for you!

🔍 What is CTF?

Capture The Flag (CTF) is a cybersecurity competition in which participants solve problems of varying complexity in order to “capture the flag” - a special code or token confirming the successful completion of the task. REVO CUP 2025 will use the Jeopardy CTF format.

📌 Main categories of tasks:

Cryptography – decrypting encrypted messages and algorithms.

Reverse engineering – analyzing program code to find vulnerabilities.

Forensics – investigating digital incidents and recovering data.

Web exploits – identifying and exploiting web application vulnerabilities.

PWN (exploitation of binary vulnerabilities) – hacking protected systems and analyzing errors in code.

Participants must not only hack the system, but also understand how to protect it – this is a key skill for information security specialists.

📅 ​​Competition format

REVO CUP 2025 in cybersecurity consists of two stages:

1️⃣ Qualifying stage (online)

📅 Date: March 30, 2025

⏰ Time: 20:00 – 23:00

🌐 Format: online on the kep.uz platform

Participants will be offered tasks of varying difficulty in the Jeopardy CTF format.

Points are awarded for each successfully solved task depending on its difficulty.

The top 40 participants will advance to the final.

2️⃣ Final stage (offline)

📅 Date: April 5, 2025

📍 Venue: IT Park, Urgench

⏰ Time: 14:00 – 17:00

Finalists will receive more complex tasks that require deep knowledge and a creative approach.

Winners are determined by the number of points scored and the speed of solving problems.

🎯 Participation rules

✔ Participation is individual - teams cannot compete.

✔ The use of automatic scanners is prohibited.

✔ Any attacks on the CTF infrastructure will be punished by disqualification.

✔ Sharing flags and solutions with other participants is prohibited.

✔ Each participant must use their own tools to solve problems.

✔ Solutions must be presented with an explanation of the attack methods.
